Spanish I, II, III
Course disclosures: Spanish I and II AND Spanish for Native Speakers (SNS)
Spanish is one the most commonly spoken languages in the world today. It is my belief that in order to learn a foreign language one must be immersed in that language. For this reason my classes will be taught in Spanish from beginning to end and very little, if any, English will be used. It is necessary that students get used to hearing, reading, writing and especially speaking Spanish for them to be able to fully acquire the language. Students will be required to do all of these things daily in this class as well as practice them on their own with a variety of different written, oral, individual, and group activities. Students will also be introduced to different cultures of Spanish-speaking countries throughout the world and their practices.
